Please make sure you have backed up your Z
first & have at least 32mb SD or CF
card installed.Place your Z in the cradle
& please use your mains adaptor throughout the update because if your battery
fails, the Z will become unusable.Check
you have the green connection in your systray active & click the Update.exe
file & follow the on screen instructions.
OK, well I Have been running with the
new 2.39 ROM for a week now, the only Sandisk SD card issue I still have is
if you setup you PIN security code & let the Z switch off, when you turn on
& enter your PIN code the SD card applet has gone & your card is no longer part
of the Z. You then have to soft reboot with the switch on the back & once it's
booted the card & stored files are back again. This ONLY happens if you set
up security access code.
